Tuesday's Tip of the Day: A Safer Way to Pit an Avocado
When pitting an avocado, consider using a corkscrew in place of your chef knife for a safer alternative. Simply cut the avocado in half lengthways then insert the corkscrew in the pit as you would a wine cork. Twist and pull and voila, a pitted avocado in seconds.
