If you’ve ever worked with tomatillos, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Gummy, sticky, tacky, or whatever you want to call it, tomatillos can be frustrating to work with. Follow the steps below, and you’ll have your tomatillo ready to enjoy in lightning speed!
1. Remove the husk, or as some say, peel.
2. Under hot running water, use your hands to gentle rub off the waxy / gummy coating.
3. Dry with a clean towel.
4. Use to your liking!
