If you were to take one of my cooking classes and asparagus was on the menu, chances are you would hear me referring to it as “beautiful.” Quite frankly, asparagus IS beautiful, wouldn’t you agree? It’s interesting and unique offering such character and mystery. And, besides being “beautiful” and one of my favorite things to photograph – check my iPhoto library – asparagus is absolutely delicious and so good for you! So with asparagus at its prime, this week we will talk about asparagus and all of its wonderful features from health benefits to tips on buying, storing, prepping and cooking.
