Yogurt Parfait

When entertaining or looking for a way to take breakfast to the next level, consider making yogurt parfaits. This recipe works with all types of fruit so get creative and let your imagination be your inspiration. If you are topping with granola, make sure you add the granola right before serving or it will get soggy!

1, 6-ounce container fresh raspberries

1, 6-ounce container fresh blueberries

1 1/2 cups plain 2% Greek yogurt

honey, as desired

Method:

1.   In 6 small 1/2-cup capacity ramekins or glasses, add approximately 1/8-cup yogurt. Top with raspberries and blueberries and another 1/8-cup yogurt to cover. Finish with more raspberries and blueberries and a drizzle of honey to garnish.

2.   Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator overnight. Note: keep in mind that if storing overnight, the yogurt may separate and need to be stirred the following morning.

 

Kitchen Note:  Use whatever fruit, granola, yogurt, honey and even herbs, like mint, to your liking.
